BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

The Broadcast Communications Technology Program is a three-part curriculum designed to provide practical experience and training to augment the classroom instruction. All three components allow you to increase your awareness of broadcast operations and industry trends, while interacting with established professionals. This provides core competency which prepares you for employment upon graduation.

CROSS-TRAINING PROVIDES CORE COMPETENCY

When you complete CSB's training program you will have been cross-trained in both the creative and technical aspects of radio, television and production for audio and video; you will be qualified for most entry-level positions in practically every broadcast department or facility.

Cross-training in the classroom portion of the CSB curriculum affords you the opportunity to train for various entry-level positions and allows you to understand the industry as a whole.

Through lab and internship opportunities, you can gravitate toward specific areas of the industry for which you are better suited or interested. In most cases, this hands-on training builds your resumes with sought-after experience and serves to motivate you, allowing you to surpass entry-level employment requirements and secure full-time positions.
